Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center
★★★★☆
Business Hotel
Denver, Colorado
A downtown Denver hotel with Rocky Mountain views, a 27th-floor lounge, indoor pool, contemporary dining, and extensive wellness facilities.
About the hotel
Set in the heart of downtown Denver, Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center occupies a prominent position on 15th Street, directly opposite one of Colorado's principal convention venues. The hotel sits within walking distance of the 16th Street pedestrian promenade, Denver Performing Arts Complex, theatres, museums and restaurants, while its upper floors open towards panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains and surrounding city skyline. Its central location makes it particularly convenient for exploring Denver on foot while remaining connected to the wider metropolitan area.
Opened in 2005, the property has developed its identity around large-scale hospitality, business travel and the cultural character of Colorado's capital. The hotel celebrated its twentieth anniversary with the completion of a $70 million transformation in April 2026, introducing redesigned accommodation and additional gathering spaces. Despite its considerable size, the concept increasingly draws on residential comfort, local materials and contemporary Colorado art, creating a connection between the building's business-oriented purpose and the destination surrounding it.
The 37-storey building contains 1,100 guestrooms and suites, including 58 suites, all reimagined during the 2026 renovation. Interiors incorporate natural wood, stone, porcelain, vegan leather and muted green tones inspired by the Rocky Mountains. Accommodation ranges from contemporary King and Queen guestrooms to larger suites with separate living areas, spacious workstations and expansive city or mountain views. An extensive collection of more than 150 artworks by over 50 Colorado-based artists adds a distinctly regional identity to the public spaces.
Dining and wellness form an important part of the experience. Former Saint Craft Kitchen & Taps serves contemporary Colorado cuisine, while Assembly Hall Bar + Market offers a more informal setting for coffee, light meals and drinks. On the 27th floor, Peaks Lounge overlooks the Denver skyline and Rocky Mountains, particularly atmospheric around sunset. Elsewhere, guests have access to a heated indoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, 24-hour fitness centre and Spa Juniper, where massages and personalised skincare treatments provide a quieter alternative to the activity of downtown Denver.
Today, Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center is particularly well suited to business travellers, conference attendees, couples, families and visitors seeking a full-service hotel in central Denver. Its combination of extensive meeting facilities, recently renovated accommodation, panoramic dining and wellness amenities makes it practical for both professional visits and leisure-focused city breaks. The ability to explore the city's cultural districts on foot while returning to a hotel with substantial recreational facilities gives the property a broader appeal beyond its convention-centre setting.

“Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center offered the perfect balance of comfort and city energy. I loved the hotel's central location, with downtown Denver's restaurants, shops, and attractions just moments away.
