About the hotel

Situated on Amiens Street in the northern part of Dublin's city centre, The Address Connolly occupies a convenient position opposite Connolly Railway Station and close to the International Financial Services Centre. Its surroundings connect the historic streets of central Dublin with the redeveloped Docklands, where contemporary architecture, cultural attractions and waterfront promenades reflect the city's evolving character. EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, O'Connell Street and the Convention Centre Dublin are within walking distance, while the nearby Luas tram and DART services provide convenient access to destinations across the capital.

Formerly known as the North Star Hotel, the property entered a new chapter following a substantial refurbishment and its integration into The Address Collective, an Irish hotel group owned and managed by Brian and Ciara McGettigan. The transformation introduced a renewed approach to four-star hospitality, combining contemporary design with traditional Irish craftsmanship and a greater emphasis on personalised guest experiences. Sustainability also forms part of the hotel's identity through its Think Green | Act Green programme, which supports responsible sourcing, waste reduction and energy efficiency. The property has received the Green Tourism Gold Award.

The hotel offers 278 guestrooms and suites, combining contemporary furnishings with decorative elements sourced and crafted in Ireland. Accommodation ranges from comfortable Classic Rooms to spacious Club Rooms, family accommodation and premium suites. Classic Rooms measure approximately 20 square metres, while Club Rooms provide 28 square metres and access to an exclusive executive wing. The larger Club Suites extend to 42 square metres, with separate living areas and generous bathrooms. Selected categories feature smart technology for controlling lighting, temperature and entertainment, while premium accommodation includes Nespresso machines, rainfall showers and additional personal comforts.

Dining and wellness contribute to the hotel's contemporary character. NORTH serves international cuisine influenced by seasonal Irish produce, while The Parlor offers speciality coffee, homemade pastries and afternoon tea. The Place provides a relaxed cocktail bar with an adjoining garden terrace, and The Cellar serves traditional Irish and continental breakfasts. The Club Spa introduces a hydrotherapy pool, infrared sauna and heated salt therapy room, complemented by a modern fitness centre. Guests staying in Club accommodation also enjoy exclusive access to the seventh-floor rooftop lounge, which overlooks Dublin's skyline.

The Address Connolly is particularly well suited to business travellers, couples, families and visitors planning a cultural city break in Dublin. Its proximity to Connolly Station makes it practical for exploring Ireland beyond the capital, while nearby conference venues and financial offices appeal to corporate guests. The Club accommodation provides additional privacy and executive facilities, and the spa offers an opportunity to unwind after a day in the city. Combining contemporary Irish design, accessible transport connections and an established hospitality heritage, the property offers a comfortable urban base with a distinct sense of place.
